APEA and Olive Group partner to launch digital training solution
The Association for Petroleum & Explosives Administration and Olive Group have partnered to launch a new online training platform, available for purchase by all association members. Olive Group is an established provider of training platforms, using cutting edge technology and a background in compliance to create high-quality, custom digital training.
Typically a digital training platform saves over 50% in direct training costs and 80% in time spent learning, in comparison to other methods of training, such as classroom-based.
APEA's training platform consists of courses targeting compliance in Petroleum & Explosive Administration:
- Key Areas of the Filling Station
- The Future of Fuel
- Drainage Principles
- Road Tanker Delivery & Consignor Requirements
- Petroleum (Consolidation) Regulation 2014
- Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulation 2002
- Preparing for Inspection
- The Red Guide
Much of the content is professionally accredited and, alongside advanced technology, delivers cost-effective consistent training. Courses mix high-quality video, custom motion graphics, and gamification to ensure that learners are constantly engaged, leading to higher retention rates when compared to conventional training.
All courses can be taken in one go, or completed over time, with content available 24/7. In addition, material works on mobile devices so learners don’t need access to laptops or PCs, they can simply use their tablet or smartphone.
On completion of the suite of courses, delegates will have received the foundation knowledge required, in order to undertake the duties related to the operation of a petrol filling station, or the enforcement of petroleum legislation at a petrol filling station.
